I got a chance to meet Christine and Robbie this past weekend to do their Couples Shoot in preparation for their big day on October 10, 2020. We couldn’t have gotten a nicer day to shoot. The weather was great, the location was perfect and Christine and Robbie brought their biggest smiles. I feel very honored to have been chosen to be part of their special, they are both very nice and humble people.
This is their story:
We met at a get together in Feb 2017. We had an instant connection! We later found out that we had a lot of mutual friends as well as our families. It was as if we knew each other for years. Robbie decided to make it official on May 5, 2017. We just knew that this would eventually lead us to the altar. We bring the best of each other and on May 4, 2019, Robbie proposed at my favorite park, Verona Park. Later that summer, we purchased our first home in September! That fall, we decided to save the date for 10-10-2020, but little did we know, we would face challenging times that year. Robbie is a business owner at a well-known restaurant in Fords, NJ. Robbie’s restaurant stayed open all throughout the pandemic and fed a lot of essential workers. Christine is a Molecular Biologist and also had to work all throughout when Covid-19 was at its peak. Christine was part of creating and validating the 1st, nationally, at-home qPCR saliva testing for Covid-19. Due to the workload, wedding planning was postponed. Though we can not have the ideal wedding, we know for sure that we are both very lucky to still have each other. 2020 has been a challenging year, but for me it will be the year I marry my soulmate. Love during the time of Covid-19, not only strengthened our relationship but also made us realize the importance of our purpose in life and making each day meaningful.
Thank you both for your dedication and commitment throughout the pandemic !
Now that you have read a little bit about them, let me share some of their pics from that day.
See you guys on the 20th 😀
The day couldn’t have been more perfect! Thank you Cris for everything!
